Kigali Arrival & Drive to the Volcanoes
Begin your journey with a scenic drive to Musanze. On the way, stop for a local lunch and take in the stunning "thousand hills" that give Rwanda its nickname. Arrive at your base for the next three nights.
The Gorilla Trekking Highlight
The crown jewel of your safari. Trek through the dense rainforest to find a gorilla family. Spend an hour in their presence, a truly humbling and exhilarating experience. Afternoon at leisure or optional local community walk.
Golden Monkeys & Cultural immersion
Track the rare Golden Monkeys in the morning. These fast-moving primates are a joy to watch. In the afternoon, we visit the Iby'iwacu Cultural Village for a spectacular display of traditional kingship, marriage ceremonies, and warrior dances.
Lake Kivu Relaxation & Boat Cruise
Drive to the shores of Lake Kivu, one of Africa's Great Lakes. Check into your resort and enjoy a tranquil afternoon. End the day with a private sunset boat cruise, watching the "singing fishermen" and the sun dipping below the horizon.
Farewell Rwanda
Enjoy a lazy breakfast overlooking the lake before we drive you back to Kigali. Time permitting, stop at the Kimironko Market for some final souvenir shopping before your airport transfer.
